Water Garden Proposal
1. Plan/layout of area: Our garden currently contains a lot of stuff that shouldn't be in there, so first our task is to remove the soil and bad water in it. Then we plan on adding clean water and putting in the plants and animals that we want. We might also want to add some agapanthas or irises to the outside of the pond to pretty it up. We are also going to block off possible erosion and dirt from going into the pond if it rains.
2. Plants we want: The main plants that we are looking at for the pond are duckweed and maybe one or two water lilies. We also want to have some mosquito-fish and snails to clean up our pond. After all that if we have the time we will also add some agapanthas or irises around the pond.
3. Plant/Animal interactions: Our area currently has very little interactions. There were some small bugs living under the rocks in the shallow water. We want to attract mosquitos and bees to the environment but kill off the mosquitos with mosquito fish
4. Soil good/bad: We have very bad soil in our pond. We are going to remove all the soil and only bring in good soil in pots for some of the flowers that we will have in the pond.

Next steps
Now that we have made our biomes and added to it we have to plan ahead. We can add more plants to each of the biomes to make them really feel complete and we can create more places for insects and animals to live in. It would be nice to add a bench for someone to sit on and take it all in as well as small stones to enter each of the biomes. We could add fencing in the future to wall off each of the biomes also. These can be used as teaching tools to easily identify biomes for future classes. Creating a map of the new sites and what is in them that make them their biomes would help as a teaching tool.
